We have been invited by the gentlemen of SAE Alumni to celebrate Oktoberfest.  This is a great chance to meet other Greek Alums in the city.

Date: Thursday October 23^rd

Time: 6pm-9pm

Details: There is seating in the back and a beautiful bar in the front area.

Kick-off & Planning Meeting Photos

We had a fantastic turnout at the Kick-Off & Planning Meeting.  With 24 girls in attendance we came up with some great new events for the coming year.  We also discussed the open board positions and the many ways members can get involved.  Platforms are due for exec positions on October 18^th, and elections will happen the following week. 

Executive Position Descriptions

President ~ She leads the Alumnae organization and attends the national conference.  She is in close contact with nationals about what is going on with AXO on a national level.

VP-Communications ~ She communicates information from the executive board to the rest of the chapter.  Updates the website and sends information to nationals for their correspondents with all alums.  Updates the member list for e-mail blasts and mailings.

VP-Fraternity Relations ~ She contacts other Fraternity and sorority alumni organizations in the area to plan events together.  Organize social or philanthropic events.

VP-Historian ~ She keeps track of old and new material and photos to share with members.  Creates information and images to be displayed on the website.

VP-Membership Development ~ She welcomes the new members and explains the benefits of the Gamma Gamma chapter.  She helps connect Gamma Gamma with the Columbia Collegiate chapter for their major events.

VP-Panhellenic Representative ~ She is in contact with the Panhellenic chapter here in NYC and plans events and keeps AXO up to date on what is going on in the alum Greek community.

VP-Philanthropy ~ She organizes events where Gamma Gamma can give back to the community.  In the past we have painted schools, gardened, Party in a box and the Revlon Breast Cancer Walk.

VP-Recruitment ~ She tries to increase membership through events and getting the word out.  Work with the Columbia chapter for their recruitment in the Fall or Spring.

Warden ~ She keeps the alum chapter following ritual through education and traditional ceremonies/events.  She also works with Columbia when needed on their AXO rituals.

AXO Alumni Kick-off & Planning Meeting

Whether you are new to the city or have been here 25 years, come join us for our annual kick-off meeting.  We are rounding up all the AXO alumni in the New York area in order to elect our executive board and plan new, exciting events for the coming year.  Please join us in this casual setting to meet fellow alums, share stories, and plan activities.  Feel free to bring pictures of your summer travels, or bring a fellow AXO you know in NYC!

At this meeting we will be signing up for Executive positions.   This is an excellent opportunity to stay involved with the chapter and meet new women throughout NYC!  If you are interested in an Executive position, please join us at the Kick-off Meeting.  If you would like further information on a position or are unable to attend but would still like to sign up for a position please contact Monica Yuki.
