NYCAP Spring Awards Cocktail Party

This fabulous event took place Saturday May 30th at the Boat Basin to honor the achievements of the various sorority alumnae chapters in New York City. It was a 2 hour open bar and award ceremony that gave women from different alumnae chapters to come together and meet.Best

January Book Club ~ photos

In January we met at the Marriott Marquis and discussed the title “Forever” by Pete Hamill which is a novel about a man who is given the opportunity to live forever as long as he never sets foot off of the island of Manhattan. Not only is it a great read, but it is even a little bit of a NYC history.

We had a great night eating Bratwurst, drinking liters of Spaten Beer, and meeting the gentleman of SAE.

Kick-off & Planning Meeting Photos

We had a fantastic turnout at the Kick-Off & Planning Meeting.  With 24 girls in attendance we came up with some great new events for the coming year.  We also discussed the open board positions and the many ways members can get involved.  Platforms are due for exec positions on October 18^th, and elections will happen the following week.

AXO~Gamma Gamma Holiday Party

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2007 AXO ~ Gamma Gamma Holiday Party this past Sunday.  Together we collected 100’s of toiletries and children’s toys to donate to the Battered Women’s Shelter.  Our actions will make another woman’s holiday season a little brighter.
